The colour of my old book pages matches the exact shade of my new coffee mug

I just noticed something kind of cool this morning my 25-year-old book’s pages have aged into the same soft beige tone as my new ceramic mug. I didn’t plan it, but when I placed them side by side, they almost blended together.

It’s weirdly satisfying how two things from totally different times ended up matching so perfectly. Makes me think how time leaves its own kind of aesthetic.
