Is it just me, or do housing platforms genuinely FORGET you exist the second you graduate? We become invisible ghosts.

Lately, I’ve been noticing something strange with student housing platforms. The moment you graduate, it’s like you vanish. All those listings, support, and “student perks” suddenly disappear. You’re treated like you don’t exist anymore.

Platforms like University Living, and others do a great job for current students, but what about the years immediately after graduation? That period when you’re figuring out jobs, internships, or moving cities for work? It feels like there’s this huge postgrad housing gap that nobody talks about.

I’ve started asking myself: why is postgrad life treated as this invisible phase in housing? Why aren’t there more options tailored for people who are no longer “students” but also aren’t fully settled in the housing market yet?

It’s not just a platform problem—it feels structural. Housing is optimized for categories: student, professional, investor. If you fall between, suddenly there’s nothing. And yet, people still need places to live, often on tight budgets, often temporarily.

I’m curious if others have noticed this too. How did you find housing after graduation? Are there platforms or approaches that actually work for postgrads, or is it just a struggle we’re supposed to silently endure?
