Beam Pro connection issue with One Pro

Hey gang,

Just grabbed the Beam Pro to use as a source for my One Pros. Unfortunately, it's not working at all. After update and reset, it shows the logo whenever the glasses are on my face, but when I set them down on the desk, it detects them and switches to the virtual mouse.

My initial suspicion was the cable, but I've had zero other issues with the stock cable, it mirrors fine when I turn on default air casting, and it changes state extremely consistently: every single time I set the glasses down, it starts detecting and switching to spacial mouse; every single time I put them on my face, no matter how gingerly, it reverts to the Nebula logo.

Any suggestions?
