Employability after providing a bad reference

General Discussion

I just got accepted for a job offer after 2 months of being unemployed. Background checks from fit2work came in and requested 2 reference checks. One of them from a job in 2022 gave a stellar reference. My most recent one at a big 4 bank I had to call beforehand as I was let go during probation due to poor performance. Obviously this was a concern so I called her up to request her to not "throw me under the bus". One of the questions in the check were in regard to why I left and she mentioned that the role was not a right fit which is fine, but she included that the role was not a right fit due to poor performance. I am extremely stressed now as I believe this is grounds for the new job to rescind my offer. Would this be the case?
