Scammed Through Zelle

Long story short, I was buying Pokémon cards from a Facebook page. The seller had a business page with good comments, references, and seemed completely legitimate, so I thought it was safe. I purchased two items for about $230, and the cards weren’t set to release until November.

However, about a month later (in October), I noticed that his business account no longer had a profile picture, which made me suspicious. I tried searching for his page and profile on Facebook, but they were completely gone. Eventually, I found another post from someone mentioning the same name, saying she had also been scammed by this person while buying Pokémon cards. That’s when I realized I had been scammed too.

Today, I filed a dispute with USAA, but since the payment was sent through Zelle, I’m not sure what my chances are of getting my money back. This is my first time getting scammed, and I feel awful. I really thought I did my research, but I guess it wasn’t enough.
