Why is this game’s file sizer different for me and my friend?

When I go to download this game on my Xbox Series X it says that it’ll take up about 106 GB of storage. However my friend on the Xbox Series S has the game downloaded and running perfectly fine with a file size of about 36 GB. What gives? And can I shrink my game somehow?
