Struggling a bit with the uncertainty? 29M 36F
So I’ve been dating someone for 3 months. She’s 36 I’m 29
For the most part it’s really great. The chemistry is great. She treats me amazing. We really get along. She likes me and wants me to get more involved in her life. I like her too.
She moved over to my country 7 months ago so she’s still navigating that a bit. She said she didn’t really expect much from dating when she got here and was just thinking we’d be some fun hookups. But it’s been 3 months and she’s still enjoying it.
The thing that bothers me is timelines. I know she’s still got a bit of time. But considering she’s 37 in December I feel very aware that if we want kids we’d need to do it fairly quickly.
I have told her categorically that I want kids one day. She’s said she’s heard but it’s too early to know if I’m the guy for that after 3 months. Which fair.
I’m struggling a bit with the uncertainty. I know the time pressure isn’t on me but I am starting to want that longer term relationship. I’m just not sure if it’s her yet. And honestly feel a bit of internal pressure
I’m struggling to enjoy the moment. I’m a bit scared. I don’t want to end it. But I am scared.
