Help coming off bromazolam

I am opi dependent for 20 years or so. Turns out the last chemical I used was spiked bromazolam. I used that for roughly 4 months in unknown quantity becauuse it was mixed in. The lab said it was barely detectable in the powder but I take very large doses orally of the opi so I guess it added up and I pissed positive on a home test for benzos. While I did find that it cut my required to dose to be pain free of opi’s in half I don’t want to be dependent on anything else.

Any advice coming off would be super helpful. Is 4 months of use long enough for serious side effects of benzo withdrawal? I do have access to Xanax from a family member who passed away and left a rather large stash. So I could use for some sort of taper?
