Does anyone else crave attention on their period?

I am a 26-year-old woman who has never dated or had intimate relationships. For some reason when I’m on my period I always start craving me attention really badly. Not even sexually I just want someone to talk to and flirt with. This is really strange because I always assume that this should be happening during the ovulation phase not the period itself…
