Best parking for the Broncos vs Giants game at Empower Field?

heading to the broncos giants game and figured i'd share some parking advice since it can be a real headache. trying to find a decent spot without paying a fortune and sitting in traffic for hours is rough.

honestly the best thing i've found is an app called prked. people who live right next to empower field at mile high rent out their driveways. it's way cheaper than the official lots and you book it ahead of time so you know you have a guaranteed spot. the best part is you can pick a spot on the side of the stadium you're coming from and just walk a few minutes, you totally skip the insane traffic jams getting into the main lots.

if you're set on the official lots, know that the pre-purchased season permits are already sold out. they have some day-of parking but you have to get there super early. lots usually open 4.5 hours before kickoff, but the popular ones fill up within an hour or two. lot c is the big tailgating spot and it opens 6 hours early, spaces are around $55 and go immediately. they also have a carpool section in lot a if you have 4 or more people in your car it's about $45 but they dont allow tailgating in that specific part. all the stadium lots are credit card only.

there are other options nearby too. you can try parking at ball arena, the auraria campus, or even the denver aquarium and walk over. those lots are usually a bit cheaper, maybe in the $20-$30 range. i've seen people park at elitch gardens as well. a lot of these off-site lots are a good 20-25 minute walk, so keep that in mind.

getting out is the worst part. plan to hang out for a bit after the game or you'll be sitting in your car forever. the stadium is right off I-25 so every direction gets completely jammed. downloading the broncos app can actually help, it gives you specific directions for exiting your lot.
