LGBT+ irl group in my community

I want to start a in person lgbt+ group in my area (since they are none) but I don't know what to make the group about. Meetups? Crafts? Support group? Something different every month/time I can get the venue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Also I live in a town with some MAGA, so any safety tips for me? This group will be 18+ only
