Do insurance claim take a long time to claim?

Hi i want to hear some feedback from you guys about my motor accident and insurance claim. I crash my bike during 16 July and file a police report within the week. My motor got sent to the insurance claim motor workshop immediately after the accident. It has been almost 3 months and my bike still hasn’t done fixing. Any option on this? and every time i call the work shop the owner say i need to answer the insurance agent phone call and get them to approve the claim and sometimes the boss even ignore my questions about the claim many times already ??? Like what i did that 3 months ago??
