Do Platinum FF feel special in the lounge, or empty that they still have to fly economy?

I fly First and Business a fair bit, it's crazy how busy the Qantas first lounge is because its full of people who sold their soles for status instead of actual first passengers, and yes its obvious when you aren't actually flying first as you aren't one of the very few people at the reserved tables in the far corner. To people with status, doesn't it feel shit to have your 5 minutes of luxe in the lounge before being crammed in economy? for me I would only enjoy a lounge if I was actually flying first. Just my take, but with how many people have status these days makes the qantas first lounge not special, wish they made it so you can only get in if actually flying first.
