Afraid of familys destiny
Salam aleykum, i am muslim and do pray i am hanafi madhab. I have some family members that do not pray, and i heard hanbali madhab says someone who doesnt pray is a kafir, and they also have another opinion saying if they pray sometimes they are still kafir, i also heard if they pray in ramadan (they do) then they are not kafir, i fear which opinion turns out to be true in the day of judgement. This stresses me with different opinions and give me paranoia that they enter jahannam forever.
I also have another question on this topic, i want to know if allah only knows and if this question is something from the unseen (al-ghayb)
There are some Hanbalis who believe that a person becomes a disbeliever (kafir) if they completely abandon the prayer. What will happen to these differing opinions on the Day of Judgment? For example, a Hanbali might say that neglecting the prayer makes a person a kafir, while a Hanafi would say that it is a major sin. Do you know what will happen to these rulings on the Day of Judgment — if someone was Hanafi and followed the opinion that it is a major sin, and then Allah reveals that the Hanbali opinion was actually correct, would that Hanafi Muslim then be in Jahannam (Hell) forever? Or dont we know because its from the unseen?
