Motivation Writing And Eliminating Al

Question

Hello! So I've "recently" been writing a story that is kinda a mash of micromegas, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy narrator and the little prince. But I haven't written much, I've been writing for over a year now and I do have 6 chapters but they are tiny chapters (which I feel adds to the certain style im writing with) so I have just under 2k words. And I have a few questions

So I haven't written quite a long time, I think maybe 5 months? (Ik tough) And I can't seem to find the motivation/skill to start it up again, I really like the idea of the book and how it feels so far, I have a plan but whenever I start writing everything just seems wrong like I'm dragging things out overusing a joke (being that my character doesnt know anything about earth). I think my lack of skill can be attributed to my lack of reading. (Double lack) I haven't read much recently and I've just started LOTR, (Frodo just turned about the ring and been told how to destroy it) but it's hard for me to read (probably because I've been reading so much we toons recently)

So how do I force myself to have motivation/read more other than will power as I am very lazy.

  1. (and I know this is so long so far sorry,) So I'm sad to admit that I have used Al so far in writing my story, I have been using it to create the first line of my chapter to get me flowing, although I would change it heavily, I feel like I am cheating through any use of Al. And so I wanted to ask how do you guys start writing? I want to not use it at all anymore

TLDR: Is there anyway to force myself to write and read more and how do you guys start writing (to eliminate my use of Al

I also kinda want to share what I've got, but idk if it's allowed to link it so I won't
