Salary/Earning for Med Imaging Techs
Hi!
I wanted to hop on here and make a quick post about earning potential in three different fields.
-
General Radiography Technologists
-
Sonographers
-
Nuclear Medicine Technologists
From my understanding the pays usually start off around 36-38/hour as per the CAMRT website scale says.
I was wondering is this an accurate representation of what is actually earned? I want to know how much people usually get around biweekly or monthly after deductions— am I able to make a liveable wage with this profession? I see some techs making 100k+ but that seems like after multiple years in the profession.
What will my income look like as a new grad vs seasoned?
Any guidance would be highly appreciated.
