Why this happend?

Some months ago before GPT5 update in 2024, they were promoting ChatGPT as their companion and claiming they created the best ai model ever. But in just 2 months, they destroyed the app, does anyone know why Openai suddenly did all of this in just 2 months ? And now that nick is saying 'we never meant to create a chatbot' does anyone know the reasons ?
