HHN13 Singapore Enquiry

Hello guys, I’ll be attending this years HHN 13 in Singapore and wanted to ask if it was possible to enter the park later than the time the event starts. I know the event usually starts around 7-730pm but one of my friends would only be able to make it over around 8-830. Is there an unspoken rule about when the gates close? Or is it possible to enter after the event has started?
