A girl saw me coming out from somewhere I shouldn’t have.

So, it was my first day in college. During the orientation, I suddenly felt the urge to use the was-hroom. Near that area, there was this small orchid garden. Honestly, it looked so beautiful that I got distracted for a second. Then I quickly went inside one and closed the door.

After I was done, while washing my hands, I noticed something strange. The walls had these pencil drawings of random figures. I started to think... wait, there were no separate sections for guys. Oh no, this may be the wrong was-hroom.

My heart started beating fast. I just wanted to get out before anyone saw me. I slowly opened the door and slipped out as fast as I could. Then I looked up the board said “Ladies.”

A girl was sitting on the bench near the orchids, looking at me and smiling. Seriously, this is the most awkward thing that can happen on your first day. I went near her and said, “Please... don’t tell anyone, okay?”

She laughed and said, “What? No, I laughed because you actually look like my brother. When you came out, I thought what’s he doing here?”

I was in wonder as well as relieved. I didn’t know if she said that just to make me feel better or if she really meant it. Maybe she just didn’t want to see me embarrassed. Either way, she was a good soul.
