Mainline Eddy Katapult

I've noticed the firmware update script from the Klipper mainline git has an option for updating your Eddy probe if it has Katapult loaded. Has anyone loaded Katapult on an Eddy Duo that's used in USB mode? What are the settings and steps for that, if so? Are there downsides to doing it that way?
