Discovering asexuality and lost
TL;DR; after two years we realize she's asexual and we're worried about staying together
Hi everyone. I M28 am meeting my long distance partner F28 for the second time. Everything is perfect and I was gonna meet her parents and hopefully get married in 2026/2027. However, I also learned that she's asexual and she's understanding it too. Until now she didn't understand why she felt different but it's starting to make sense. She feels 0 sexual pleasure and never had. She has tried masturbating a few times in the past but feels nothing. She knows a man looks sexy because he looks like the TV ads men but that's it. I've tried gently touching her, kissing, having sex but she feels absolutely nothing.
We asked our close family and friends for advice but no one understands or helps. After reading online we thing she's probably just born that way and that's it. We're worried about our future now and cancelled our plans. I really love her and I'm not really a sexual person like all the other men I know. In my life, I had sex like 3 times with one girl before I met her, but I do feel sexual pleasure and excitement. I masturbate a few times a week, I am turned on when we're cuddling but she isn't. After reading stories online I'm afraid that we're gonna be a sad couple once we move in together and get married. Even chatgpt says we must break up but I finally found love and so did she, we don't want to lose this.
Any advice? This is very difficult to go through after two years of thinking I found the one.
