Observation mode

Just finally figured out what I was doing in metro and boom! Get hit with the observation mode for killing a player fair and square. 😂 will the person who reported me even get and repercussions for a false report? My main question is how long does the observation mode last? I only play metro but if report exploitation is a thing then naw man this game ain’t it.
