Question regarding SLC payments from a former student that leaves abroad.

Good day to all, I am a former UK student that studied in Liverpool from 2016-2017 for a postgraduate course. I then left UK to live in my home country and i am in my country for work ever since. I was wondering if there is any legal repercussions if i “ignore” the SLC that is contacting me every year to give them my updated employment status. I have exceeded the threshold for my country and i make yearly payments, but i dont have any real interest in returning to the UK to live and work permanently. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
