Is it just me or is running dungeons with NPC's ideal over running with others during the levelling process/getting into max level expansion gear? (When daily's are done)

In short, is Item level cheesing (not fully filling every gear slot with dungeon gear upgrades from spamming a single dungeon) when you have augmented gear considered an inconvenience to others you randomly match up with?

I'm fine with doing it either with NPC's or other players but I'm curious what we think about it.
