Dog foods

Hello! I just found this subreddit for dogs. I’m from the Philippines (not really sure if this is an international sub or not). I just want to ask for some advice — what’s the best dog food for my two female Shipoos (Shih Tzu and Poodle mix)? They’re 4 months old and weigh around 4 kg. I usually buy Royal Canin Puppy (2–10 months). It’s a bit pricey, but I thought since it’s expensive, it might be healthier. My previous dog passed away from kidney failure, so I’m being extra cautious now.

I also try to prepare some of their meals — like boiled carrots, potatoes, and meat — mixed with their dry food (Royal Canin).

Any recommendation or advice will be appreciated!
