2025 K5 GT drive mode question.

TLDR: Does My Drive -> drive train -> sport+, improve transmission response time? Resulting in quicker, stronger shifts?

I'm cross shopping the K5 GT with the Elentra N at the moment.

I've tested driven both cars. Now I'm not expecting the K5 GT to perform like the Elentra N, so I think I have realistic expectations.

The only thing that flat out disappeared me was the DCT in manual mode (driven in sport mode) it wasn't nearly as snappy as I had hoped especially on up shifts. The Elentra N in N mode eliminated any concerns I had about going from manual to DCT.

I didn't find out until after the test drive that my drive had a sport+ mode.

I'm waiting for my dealer to get another GT in for a second test drive but that's going to be a couple weeks.

Bonus question: Anyone put a strut brace on their GT, did it actually help with body roll?
