I joined the CX-30 club last Friday. I had a CX-5 before this so I knew what I was getting into. This is in Japan though so I think there are different trim levels and options than other countries but this thing is loaded. Bose 10 speaker, HUD, accent lighting. I have a few qualms I don't know how to fix or can't seem to buy off Amazon to fix, unless I pay mega extra shipping.

Issue #1. My room mirror I think has an anti-glare setting? coating? Either way, it's really dark and I can barely see anything in the day light, and only headlights at night. Can't seem to change it.

Issue #2. Just fixed it today but you have to set the Android auto setting to boot up android auto, instead of Mazda's software. My CX5 didn't do that.

Issue #3. A bit underwhelmed by the bass from the bose system. I want more bass and changed the sound settings to max bass but I think it can do more.

Issue #4. Old habits die hard of putting the cell phone into the door handle slot. It falls all the way, and I know they make a bucket for that hole but shipping to Japan from Amazon is so expensive.

Nitpicking#5. The push start button location doesn't seem all that ergonomic. I wish it were a little higher so it's not behind the steering wheel.

Overall very happy with my purchase and will treat her right as long as I have her.
