Cleaning out fentanyl from shards

This is interesting:

Temperature: Fentanyl can degrade when exposed to high temperatures. Studies show that fentanyl on surfaces can be broken down by heat, although to a lesser extent than by UV light. Light: Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight can significantly degrade fentanyl. Fentanyl solutions should be protected from light.

Wondering if UV light could help clean?
