Termites and a water leak ๐
We had a water leak over the course of a week (could only hear it in the converted garage, so we didn't know). I tore into the wet drywall to see what I could see, and get a good idea of how bad the water damage was. Not only did i find moldy spots from the constant drip, but I saw a few live termite larvae, and some damage. The drip was fixed, and pest control has been scheduled. The hole has been dried with a fan since yesterday. I will get with pest and see how much more wall i need to open.
My question is, who do I get to come look at the guts and see what needs to be done, repair-wise (after pest is done, and all clear)? I can do some handy stuff, like I'll do the drywalling once repairs have been made, but I want an adult (read: professional) to help with the guts. What kind of pro will I need?
Also, I'll take all the thoughts and prayers, lol. I know it's bad. Thanks.
