Oversized grips

Recently changed to midsize grips from standard and I’m enjoying the change. I was curious as to anyone’s experience with oversized grips a step up from midsize. Pros? Cons? Seems like having more surface area in your hands would help with control maybe?

Considered just trying the out on my woods/driver.
