CFA or something else

Education & Certifications

I just found out I failed level 2 last week, and I’m debating if I should continue. I work in operations for a major broker/dealer but I was pursuing the CFA to hopefully increase my salary by breaking into something more quantitative such as credit risk, financial modeling, or forecasting. I’m 35 with 3 young kids so I’m generally not able to put more than two hours a day into studying. What is your opinion, is the CFA worth the sacrifice or should I pursue something less intense such as a data analysis certificate or something similar?
