Hull breaker Volibear

Recently I tried out ad voli as a Splitpusher, going Hull breaker as first item. It's reasonably cheap, so the reset timer might give you an advantage over your lane opponent. The only disadvantage is, that you can never Teamfights. You essentially have to perma splitpush and guarantee natural resources for you and your team. For me it feels like a really different way to play the game than I am used to, but its fun. Just wanted to hear y'all's opinion on this build. I usually go Hull breaker into triforce and then the usual tank items dead man's or visage.
