Confused about a call I got from PIP.

I’m at the MR stage in my review.

I had an award won via a tribunal case which was stopped on July 1st. I had a call yesterday (13/10/2025) asking me if I had been abroad, spent time in hospital or in prison and then ask for my bank details.

This is the second time I’ve went through the MR process, the first time I went through it , I never got this call so I’m confused. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but why ask for bank details if they’re not going to award me PIP? It would be very cruel on there part , but it’s the DWP, they get off on it.
