PC not booting up after manual restart

My game froze while playing. I tried alt+tab, tried to bring up task manager but nothing worked so I manually restarted my PC. But all I got after restarting was the "Windows Boot Manager" screen. I then got the startup repair screen but nothing seems to work. I asked the people who built my PC and they said my only options are to flash the CMOS battery or reinstall the OS. My tech skills aren't great so the first options is a no-go for now and reinstalling the OS is my last resort option. Is there anything else that I can do to resolve this? My motherboard is an MSI B760 gaming plus WiFi DDR5. I'd really appreciate any help that I can get
