Is it weird that I feel guilty about buying an e-reader?
I’ve been following this group for a while, even though I’ve never owned an e-reader. I can absolutely see the appeal, the convenience, the portability, all the benefits. But there’s one thing holding me back, and maybe it sounds silly: I love spending hours in bookshops. There’s something about browsing the shelves, discovering hidden gems, and soaking in that atmosphere that feels irreplaceable. Part of me worries that if I get an e-reader, I’ll be betraying that part of myself.
