Specialist appointment can't come soon enough

We've been dealing with and treating an ear infection or EC for well over a month now. We see the specialist in 2 days. It's been a huge problem getting into the vets in a timely manner. Then we had to wait for a referral and the specialist is only in 2x/week Our guy's condition isn't horrible (he's still very mobile and happy) but it gets slightly worse every day in spite of baytril, panacur and metacam. Please good thoughts that the vet can get a quick diagnosis and treatment.
