Point Capture Areas Feel Small

Is it just me or are the point capture areas extremely small? I don't mind the odd crammed area, but my god there is literally no space on any of the points. No spots to hide. Buildings that should be part of the area being outside of it. Feels like a lot of the complaints about the pacing of the game could be remedied by extending the capture areas where it makes sense.
