Re: prop 50.
Living in California all my life and my father being the fire chief of the Sacramento fire department and first responders, I have been raised with a great pride and appreciation for the golden state and ALL PEOPLE WHO RESIDE HERE. ( no matter their immigration status)
All my life, I have taken a backseat to the well being of my community, city and state, and though I was bitter about it as a young person, I grew to appreciate the impact my father's devotion and dedication has, and the sacrifices that had to be made for the greater good or bigger picture.
I feel compelled to say this for the good of our state and the people that still live here.
DONT LET THE POLITICIANS USE OUR DISAPPROVAL OF TRUMP TO PASS PROPOSITION 50, REMEMBER THAT TRUMP IS TEMPORARY AND ANY LAWS OR LEGISLATION THAT IS AIMED AT HIM IS GOING TO BE OPEN-ENDED ONCE HE LEAVES HIS OFFICE AND THAT IS GOING TO LEAVE IT WIDE OPEN FOR THEM TO USE AGAINST US WHEN HE IS GONE.
I know it's hard to separate our emotions from this but we need to look at this in a logical and calm mind. If we allow them to use our emotions to steer us it is going to steer straight into a hole.
For the sacrifices me and my family have made so that the state could be safe and a good place to live please consider my words. For all the sleepless nights that my mother spent worried about my father please consider my words.
For our beautiful unique awesome state and the well-being of our country please consider these words I offer them as a way to try to keep California golden.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I greatly appreciate and love you all.
