no ii’s / worried about ai usage

i applied to over 30 md schools by mid august, have decent stats, but so far it’s 3 r’s and no ii’s

i’m starting to wonder if there’s a red flag in my app or if my writing is being thrown out for ai usage or smth. all of my stories and rough drafts were my own but I did use chatgpt to refine my word choice and paragraph coherence. now I feel guilty/worried for using it too much- maybe everything sounded overly polished? does anyone have experience or insight into this…
