( gen 2 ) door lock / electrical issue.

I've been fighting with a weird electrical issue with my car, and am wondering if anyone has any ideas.

They key fob won't lock/unlock the doors, the door unlock/lock buttons don't work, so I have to use the key in the door to lock/unlock the car.

Occasinally when i'm driving, the locks will flick unlock/lock, so I know that they are getting some power to the lock, but not sure what else to look at. ( fuses and all that are good )

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could check.
