Suggestion for posts before/after

This advice applies to anything in life, but particularly to renovations.

If you want feedback - solicit that feedback during the design stage, when you can change things, when input is useful. Post as many pics and ask as many questions as you want. Agree or disagree with any of the input, we don’t care, it’s not our house.

BUT - after the work is done - If you’ve spent months on a renovation and you think it’s God’s gift to the planet, post a pic or two if you really need community recognition, but for the love of everything holy, do not seek community input on a project already completed. There is absolutely no possible upside to hearing our thoughts and input after your project is done. And whatever the feedback, you will always feel worse.

Even minor feedback - I’d go a touch warmer/cooler/more gray/less gray on the paint- will forever have you wondering about the color of the paint, that you loved right before posting.

I mean- I kinda feel bad for pink tile guy, but again - solicit input BEFORE. Enjoy your kitchen and your hard work once you’re done, you do not need to share pics with anyone except your friends who will tell you they love it.
