USM vs ULM Monroe parking?? best spots for the game oct 25

Figured i'd share some parking tips for the USM vs Louisiana Monroe game this saturday since it can get pretty crazy. I've been going to games at M M Roberts Stadium for years and have seen it all lol.

Honestly the best thing i've found recently is this app called prked. People who live right next to M M Roberts Stadium rent out their driveways and garage spots. It's way cheaper than the official lots and you can get a spot a super short walk from the gates. this lets you skip most of the game day traffic chaos which is a huge plus. you just book it on your phone and the spot is saved for you.

If you want to go the more traditional route, there are a bunch of options. For single game tickets, the general public parking is mostly on the west side of campus. The bigger lots to look for are the Ross Blvd North and South lots, and the lots on 34th and 35th avenue. Get there early though, they fill up fast.

There's also free parking at the Lake Terrace Convention Center, which has about 580 spots. The city runs shuttle buses from there to the stadium. The shuttles start two hours before kickoff and run until an hour after the game ends, dropping you off near West Fourth Street and Frontage Road. It's a good option if you dont mind the bus ride.

You might see some passes for sale on sites like seatgeek or stubhub too, if you want to pay ahead of time and have a guaranteed spot in one of the lots closer to the stadium. A lot of the lots closest to the stadium are reserved for season ticket holders with colored passes, so dont even try those unless you have one.

Just be prepared for traffic, it gets heavy around Hattiesburg on game days, especially near the stadium. Getting out after the game can be slow too, but police usually direct traffic to get everyone moving onto hardy street and 4th street.
