Clover health drop 7% on Jamie selling 0.5% of her total share.

News

I just thought this is funny because the Clover shorts are just waiting for any opportunity to jump on shorting this stock.

Jamie L. Reynoso, CEO of Medicare Advantage at Clover Health Investments Corp. and a 10% owner, sold 16,514 shares of Class A Common Stock on October 17, 2025, under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on March 13, 2025. The shares were sold at a weighted average price of $2.69, totaling $44,422. Following the transaction, Reynoso directly owns 2,955,226 shares of the company.

Rule 10b5-1 is a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rule that allows corporate insiders--like CEOs, executives, and directors--to sell or buy company stock legally while avoiding accusations of insider trading, if they follow strict conditions.

Jamie sold less than 0.5% of her total owned shares and for less than what the stock was worth at the time of selling. I find it weird that Tradingviews would highlight this insignificant news, but ignore other press releases that propelled the stock up 15% recently.
