Need help with Hindu literature

I'm a really curious teen. I'm currently exploring only topics from the Hindu scriptures and it's all from different sources. I really want to start reading in order as to not get confused. Where do I start? What scriptures are the best to...i don't know how to say it....start from the very beginning before diving deep? Suggestions would help a lot!
