A mild suggestion on the way Destiny rambles

I’ve appreciated destiny for being very succinct and clear with his arguments and explanations.

Roll the “systematic racism definition” clip. I’m using it as an example.

It feels like there’s actually dense information communicated when he gets explanatory like that. It’s brief and informative. I saw this is one of his strengths.

Hasan on the other hand, I unironically feel like I could hear 2 sentences with cut off’s, filler words, and long strings of adjectives, for like 90 seconds and honestly learn nothing too new about his views. It’s long and uninformative.

Now I’m not saying this as any harsh criticism, just a small optics thing.

I forget where I saw it, I think in some of the British interviews recently, but sometimes Steven uses a ton of filler words and kinda rants for a while a bit more than normal. No flame.

But it’s like within a single sentence , there’s a hypothetical, another what if,a sarcastic joke, and some filler words in the middle of, the sentence.

There’s still information being conveyed in the longer, like 30 second sentences, but when the message is important and super clear, it gets diluted in those 30 seconds.

If there’s nerves or anything ofc that’s just a thing to work on, but yknow. I’m def someone who can relate to wanting to rant a lil incoherently about a thing I care about when I’m on my meds. Sometimes it helps to audibly think out the next sentence you’re going to say.

All of that being said, I have no real examples. So this could just be a vibes thing and I’m schizoing out.
