Need help!!
Since last December we have opted for jio airfibre (we are situated in Chennai). From the 7th of October we have not been receiving internet connection. So on the 8th we raised a service request. For the first few days, we received no updates on the MyJio app, no engineer was getting assigned. Hence we contacted the jio customer care call support. They said the issue will be resolved in maximum two days and that a specialist will be sent to our home. No such specialist came. In fact, the engineer visit on the MyJio app constantly kept getting rescheduled to a later date and put on hold. We again contacted customer support several times, each time they gave the same practiced response of "it will be fixed soon do not worry". My last straw was on Saturday, when we contacted customer support hoping that at least this time they will be helpful. They promised that by Monday (Diwali) it will be resolved, having no other choice I ended the call and checked the myjio app for any update. Turns out my ticket was marked as "resolved". This was completely unprofessional and upsetting. The fact that jio has not only made us wait this long leading us with false hope but also the audacity to casually mark the ticket they let marinate as resolved with no support for their ended is completely disgusting especially from a reputed brand like jio. At first we tried to be understanding due to the festive season and the inclement weather but this was like a mock to our face.
If anyone has experienced anything similar with the customer "support" system, please share any advice. Should I contact jio some other way to obtain a refund or should I reach out to the national consumer helpline. Any suggestion will be appreciated, im currently baffled.
