Enemies in open world and respawn

Hello vampires

Just a quick question for peeps who’s enjoying the game already. Do we have enemies roaming the free world ? Do these enemies respawn ?

I feel like the most thing to get my attention so far is the combat. So iam double checking if we gonna feed and punch ALOT or not.
