Have been dealing with cyst and drainage for 3 months - conffoed it was a fistula last week. Went to a top CRS in my area, he performed a rectal exam and used a probe in the hole I guess. Scheduled me for a fistulatomy this coming Monday.

I went to another doctor to get a second opinion today, and this guy basically didn’t do any tests but says he thinks it’s an Intersphincteric Fistula and thinks he needs to put in a seton.

It really shocked me because they’re saying completely different things.

Fistulotamy is scheduled for Monday and I don’t know what to do.
