Is what we know about love, really correct?
why humans feel so attached to one person even when philosophically “loving everyone” makes sense. Do you think love should really be limited to one person? Society teaches us that in relationships we should be exclusive, but philosophically isn’t love something abundant — something we could feel for many people at once? If we can wish to be liked by everyone on social media and enjoy attention from many, why is loving or deeply connecting with multiple people seen as wrong? Is it only our emotional attachment and social conditioning that make us want one person, or is there something deeper in human nature that makes exclusivity necessary? And if attachment is what limits love, does that mean we’re capable of loving everyone equally — we just aren’t wired to handle it yet?
