33M - A bit of an unorthodox approach.
Hello, fellow introverts!
My story, in short - middle aged man (at least - I consider myself as such) from Eastern Europe, in a stable relationship (3 years, engaged for 10 months) and with a stable, if not slightly dull life. I'm a gamer, and spend most of my free time in World of Warcraft. As for my occupation - I've got a masters' degree in history, and I have a job as a researcher in the National Museum of History. I'm not without friends, with a few small cliques, including an online group from my WoW guild, but in general I avoid contacts with people I don't know. This leads into the one big issue that I am very well aware of - I'm very bad at initiating contact. I simply don't know how to begin conversations (which also explains why I've had shocking luck with women in general).
The reason I'm posting here is the following - if anyone out there needs someone to vent to, someone to talk to about their issues in life, or just need some reassurance from a stranger on the internet that things will get better - I can be that person for you. I don't care which gender you are, I just want to help people out. I read so many rough stories on this platform each and every day, and if I can make at least one person feel better about their lives - I'll believe that my own existence hasn't been wasted.
If you got so far - thanks for reading, and I wish you all the best!
